Do you remember how I told you I was learning to do a few things in Photoshop? I said it here in this post (which is protected so you’ll need the password to see it, email me if you’ve forgotten it) but if you can’t see it, basically I sat in on some Photoshop classes at work to try and learn how to use this software.
Well, earlier today, I emailed Elena a photo of Christian Kane that I found online (and my apologies to whomever took the photo, there was no photo credit..so if it is yours, it’s amazing and thanks). This photo:
Then I responded to her, saying, if only I could erase that woman from the photo, I’d probably wallpaper with it.
Literally as I was hitting send, I realized, that I, in fact, probably CAN erase that woman from the photo! So, I spent a few minutes trying to remember how, got the hang of it and:
Voila! The exact same photo, minus the strange woman in the background. How amazing is that?!?! And man, oh, man, that could be my new favorite photo of him. Don’t be surprised if you see it in my house the next time you visit…
I have so many posts waiting in the wings. In the meantime, I ended my previous post with a note to darling nephew Simon, asking him to please give me one terrific photo of him as a six year old.
Thanks, pal, and I’m glad you enjoyed your birthday.
I have more posts coming, several actually, but to appease you while you wait, how about a photo of my favorite six week old?
Seven hundred and sixty-ONE days ago today, I met Christian Kane. This was a major milestone. He winked at me. He HUGGED me. He gifted me with this fine photograph.
Surely you all recognize it. I even wrote a blog about how this photo has taken over my life. The most prevalent usage of this picture was as the wallpaper on my cellphone.
Since the day I downloaded the picture off the internet, I made it the front wallpaper on my iPhone. It has never changed. Not once. Not for holidays, not for anything.
Until now. At 11:00 am this morning, I finally changed my wallpaper. I figured it would have to be a pretty precipitous event to shake the foundation of Christian Kane love I’ve got happening.
Well, turns out, I’ve finally got a new love.
This is my new wallpaper. And my new love.
